GB is currently looking for an ASP.NET/VB.NET Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Proven background creating and maintaining websites preferably in a client based capacity
- Work in a project based environment as a part of a team and individually
- Able to create new code and adapt existing code to ensure system requirements are met
- Create and shape ideas for system improvements using feedback from stakeholders
- Design, Code, Test, Debug and maintain websites and related technical solutions while adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Preference given to candidates with experience creating user friendly content creation tools

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree of diploma in computer science or equivalent

Professional Skill Requirements

- Working knowledge of some of the following: MS SQL, ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience working with Web Services, AJAX, JSON, and XML
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail and design
